Wright Walking Turkey 5-Panel Icon Hat

With the revival of The Wright Shirt and our embroidered wildlife series, we made a batch of hats with the same walking turkey art. This wild turkey embroidery is also available on our classic Dirt Shirt, Denim Dirt Shirt and “Shammy” Shirt.

In the early days of Mossy Oak, one of our favorite shirts was the classic wildlife embroidered button down. Ducks, deer, turkeys, elk, fish, dogs, we loved them all. With the revival of Companions, we decided to make this classic style a mainstay once again. Combining our love of wildlife (and specifically turkeys) with our most reliable shirts, we’ve created the inaugural Wright Shirt. And with plenty of wildlife caps in our archive, we’re embroidering the same style on a few of our favorite hats.

For our first embroidered wild turkey art, we’ve used the longbeard from our 2023 Wild Turkey Conservation Stamp. Bob Tompkins is an instant old friend from the founding of Mossy Oak and painted “Cap’n Hook’s Gobbler” for Fox and Evelyn Haas in 1986. It’s been hanging above their mantle (and printed in the pages of The Flaming Turkey) ever since.

These hats are embroidered locally in Mississippi in small batches on our classic 5-Panel Hat. Also available in our classic 5-Panel Rope Hat.
