This one is an interesting one. It appears the previous owner did not like the feel of wool on their neck, either that or was seeking to seal up the collar with a shearling style collar. Whichever it was, there is a bit of shearling collar sewn into the jacket. If you choose to you can remove it with a seam ripper or scissors but if you choose to keep it you can have a stylish one-of-a-kind Filson jacket.
