A striking wide brim hat from the very early 1940s. Black woven straw. The wide brim turns down in the front (adding a bit of mystery) and is folded up in the back. A wide ribbon band and bow accent the hat. The crown has a classic late 1930s / early 1940s shape(that of a back leaning, cropped cone). Simply gorgeous!
