Vintage 1960s Dress Set, Blue and Cream Checkered Plaid Jacket and Dress, XS

The most beautiful 1960s dress set!  The dress has a navy blue "top" that features decorative double breasted buttons along the front (closes with a zipper at the back). The "skirt" on the dress is cream with a blue window pane plaid pattern. The jacket is has the same pattern and made from the same material as the bottom of the dress. it also has a matching blue lapel. I think my favourite feature is the unique button on the jacket ! It really ties the whole look together. Such a sweet little number that will work well for summer and going into the fall.  It also leans a bit into a nautical look, but maybe thats just the colour haha. The jacket is weighted so it holds its shape beautifully when worn.

MATERIAL: Cotton and Synthetic

CONDITION: Very good. However there are some flaws: 
- There is some overall yellowing on the cream fabric, on both the skirt and jacket. Especially along the cuffs of the jacket.
- Staining/discolouration on the underarms of the dress (inside). 
- There is a small faded stain on the front of "skirt" of the dress.
- There are two pulls on the right hand corner of the bottom of the dress
- On the jacket there are two small pulls on the back of the right shoulder. 
- and lastly there is a hole on the inner part of the collar (not visible when worn)
