Vintage 1950s Post War Navy Blue Beaded Capelet Wool Skirt Suit Set, XS

A beautiful post war navy blue skirt suit from the 1950s. The most sticking detail is the beaded capelet ! It has small blue beads creating intricate designs. The jacket has matching blue buttons along the front and decorative pockets with the same beading as the capelet. The set comes with a matching navy blue skirt, which can be worn together or separately. Perfect for a walk in the city.

Colours:  Navy Blue and other shades of blue in the beads.

MATERIAL:  Wool and Rayon lining

BRAND: Polly Parker 

CONDITION: Good. Its very sturdy and has plenty of life left!  But has a few issues: 
-A few small holes along the skirt waist.
- Scattered small holes forming on the skirt, mainly on the front 
- There is a large hole on the right jacket pocket (1"x 0.5") 
- Two sections on the back of the capelet need to be restitched. The beads are unattached to the jacket. I fear if they are not stitched up properly more beads will be lost, destroying the design. 
- Scattered small holes and pulls (mainly pulls) on the jacket.
