Unisex Direct-X Jacket

For fast movement over rock, ice and snow in wicked conditions, the wind- and waterproof Direct-X employs the same tough, lightweight fabric we use in the Super Pluma but is reinforced with heavier fabric in critical wear areas. Every nonessential feature was left on the cutting-room floor. The weight-saving three-quarter length lays flat under a harness and keeps footwork within view. The hideaway Optipull hood snugs around the face and neck with the one-handed tug of a drawcord. Large chest pockets are positioned above harness and pack straps to ensure quick access. Contoured elbows afford bind-free movement and long pit zips spill body heat on the ascent. Velcro$felastic cuffs and drawcords at the hem seal out spindrift. Imported.
