These Tru-Spec Scorpion OCP Improved Hot Weather Military Uniform Pants are designed to be cooler and more breathable than the standard issue combat uniform. Constructed from Cordura NYCO Extreme Rip-Stop, which is used on the currently selected and fielded US Army Improved Hot Weather Combat Uniform, the pants offer military personnel the benefit of several design enhancements that ultimately deliver a cooler uniform when deployed in extremely hot environments - all without compromising superior durability. This fabric is highly special in that it is 17 percent lighter than standard Cordura nylon while also offering 3 times higher tearing strength, 10 times the breathability, and 35 percent better drying capability. It's also super soft to the touch compared to the standard issue OCP trousers. Supplementing this already rock solid design are 330D Cordura Type IV nylon reinforcements in the seat and knees of the uniform pants, ensuring added toughness in these areas that are highly prone to wear and blowouts.

This uniform trouser features a traditional four button fly construction with a total of seven belt loops, which offer additional support to bear the weight of a duty belt and attached modular accessories. Two pleated side cargo pockets and two lower leg pockets offer extra space for other necessary gear like a radio, multitool, or spare mags, and come with drain holes to reduce the risk of pocket contents being damaged by prolonged exposure to water. If you'll be wearing a pair of kneepads when heading into the field or in a situation that involves kneeling for a long time, you'll definitely appreciate internal anti-chafing fabric located at the knees of these uniform pants for a soft feel on your skin rather than painful discomfort. The pants also come equipped with heavy nylon drawstring leg ties designed to stay securely tied up above the tops of your boot cuffs.
