The Thorogood American Heritage Midnight Series is a mid-height, American made work boot with a retro soft moc toe and made of all-black leather with a black wedge sole ready to get the job done. Built on Thorogood's exlcusive MAXWear Wedge outsole, these work boots take design notes from traditional wedge soles featuring the same lightweight flexibility and surface contact it's known for, but with a 20-30 percent long lifespan due being made of polyurethane rather than rubber which also sports shock-absorbing qualities. A wedge outsole is mostly flat and does not include a heel, which puts less stress on your feet and spine and allows you to reposition more easily and safely without fear of a heel getting caught on something. This design is great for iron workers and carpenters who may be up on scaffolding, or factory workers who have to stand on a hard concrete floor all day. These boots are part of Thorogood's "Midnight Series", which means that they're entirely black from their rugged leather exterior to their durable flat soles.
