Rothco Generation III Level 3 ECWCS Fleece Jacket

Offering a ton of warmth on its own plus the ability to zip into military parkas, the Rothco Generation III ECWCS fleece jacket is ready to help you brave the cold fall and winter months. The third generation of the ECWCS is known as the "Extended Climate Warfighter Clothing System", and is the most recent in use by the United States Armed Forces. It is a radical redesign of the system, including a total of seven levels which provide environmental protection in temperatures ranging from -60/+40 degrees Fahrenheit. The fleece jacket comprises Level 3.

Soft and lightweight polar fleece comprises the body of the jacket for excellent body heat retention without the bulk, keeping you warm without sacrificing freedom of movement no matter how you wear it. It also dries very quickly, reducing the risk of exposure from being soaked by cold rain or snow. On top of that, reinforced nylon panels on the shoulders, elbows and neck offer increased durability as well as an awesome military-style commando sweater appearance. Whether you're wearing the jacket by itself or as a parka liner, gridded fleece on the sides and armpits promote breathable comfort to prevent overheating at high levels of activity. A total of four pockets (two on the outside and two on the inside) give you plenty of space to carry everyday essentials like your wallet, keys and cell phone or even a knife and/or multitool. The front of the jacket also features loop fields for insignia or name tape attachment.
