The Windproof Jacket is classic fleece with a builtin windproof/ breathable P.E.F. (performance enhancing film) barrier (see sidebar, p. 36). Wear it as midlayer insulation on the slopes of the Sangres or as outerwear on the streets of Chicago. The 9.7-oz. 100% polyester fleece provides insulative warmth, an elastic drawcord hem prevents drafts, a flap behind the zipper blocks wind and hidden nylon spandex cuffs keep out the elements. Zippered handwarmer pockets secure valuables; soft Expedition Weight Fleece Capilene lines inside of back collar to wick away moisture; flat-sewn seams to minimize bulk. Made in USA.
