We’ve fortified the legs with heavy-duty Iron Knee patches to shrug off abrasive crusty snow and rough landings, while the waterproof shell seals out moisture to keep base layers bone-dry. Inside, low-profile insulation locks in heat without creating the bulk that usually restricts movement during a spirited game of tag. Thoughtful details like internal snow gaiters grip the top of their boots to prevent icy intrusion, and as they inevitably sprint toward their next growth spurt, the Grow-A-Long legs let you gain extra length with a quick interior release.
