Their 1,000 cuin down insulation delivers high thermal output while still allowing the parka to compress for fast, light ascents. A 3D down chamber construction is designed to reduce cold bridges and preserve warmth in exposed environments. Pertex Diamond Fuse fabric helps improve abrasion resistance when the jacket is used around rock, ice, and heavy mountain gear. The adjustable helmet-compatible hood uses a mesh visor and silicone grip strip for a secure, protective fit. A double-slider central zipper, harness-compatible invisible zippered hand pockets, and an adjustable hem improve usability during belays and transitions. With recycled fabrics, PFC-free DWR finishing, reflective detailing, a stow bag, and a repair patch kit, this parka is built for serious protection in the coldest mountain settings.
