The MF® BUCKAROOS Waist Overalls NM "TRAD" feature our original cowboy jeans pattern, cut from a traditional 14 Oz. selvedge denim with a classic dark indigo warp and natural weft. Woven from New Old Stock fabric milled in Japan, this edition delivers an authentic vintage look and is designed to develop exceptional character with wear.

FABRIC:
Traditional 14 Oz. selvedge denim with a classic dark indigo warp and natural weft. New Old Stock fabric milled in Japan.

DETAILS:

• Original western-style front pockets with folding buttoned flaps.
• Unmarked copper rivets reinforcing the front pockets.
• Original MFSC upper curved buckle-back cinch strap sandwiched into the back yoke and riveted.
• Wider rear belt loops allowing the cinch to be worn above or below the belt.
• Original MF® "Californian" shank buttons with vintage silver finish.
• Concealed rear pocket rivets.
• Original MF® "M" stitch on rear pockets with slightly curved pocket openings.
• Printed "Joe G" cloth label concealed beneath the rear cinch strap.
• 100% cotton construction thread using the original MFSC combination of thread gauges and colors.
• Vintage New Old Stock striped ticking pocket bags.
• Made in California, USA, in an ethically responsible, small family-owned factory.

The MF® BUCKAROOS are designed with a generous vintage cowboy silhouette and are not intended to be worn slim.

This edition comes raw and unwashed. The fabric is unsanforized and is designed to shrink to the tagged measurements after the recommended initial cold soak and line dry.

CARE

Hand wash or machine wash on DELICATE in cold water using a minimal amount of mild, eco-friendly detergent.

Turn the garment inside out before washing to minimize marbling of the indigo fabric. Line dry only.

This fabric will develop an attractive patina over time according to the owner's activities, frequency of wear, and laundering choices.

STORY

The MF® BUCKAROOS are a departure from the traditional five-pocket jean, featuring an intricate rear buckle-back construction developed entirely in the Mister Freedom® atelier. Rather than reproducing a single vintage garment, the pattern blends influences from western slacks, vintage denim dungarees, and old imagery into a uniquely MFSC design.

Our original back yoke and cinch strap construction is paired with distinctive western-style front pockets featuring folding buttoned flaps. Originally inspired by practical workwear, this design helped prevent pocket contents from spilling out while riding horseback or bouncing along in an old truck, while giving the BUCKAROOS their unmistakable character.

This NM "TRAD" edition is cut from a traditional 14 Oz. New Old Stock selvedge denim milled in Japan. The classic dark indigo warp and natural weft were selected for their timeless appearance and will develop exceptional character and patina with years of regular wear.
