Stunning hand painted portrait miniature, circa early 19th century, depicting a lady wearing a light colored dress and holding a pink rose. A pink ribbon and matching pink flowers adorn her hair.
This piece is signed! But I have not been able to quite make out the name. I have included a close up photograph for you to examine.
The painting is in a wooden frame with an old book page backing. There is glass in front of the painting.
