This Gen 3 ECWCS zip collar thermal shirt in AR670-1 coyote brown delivers warmth and comfort during the cold weather months. The third generation of the ECWCS is known as the "Extreme Climate Warfighter Clothing System", which is the most recent used by the United States Armed Forces. This radical redesign of the system includes a total of seven layers that provide environmental protection in temperatures ranging from -60/+40 degrees Fahrenheit. This collared thermal shirt comprises Level 1.
The shirt is made of expedition weight polyester. This level of thermal weight is best suited for low activity in below freezing temperatures such as shoveling snow, ice fishing or hunting to name a few things. The collar can be zipped all the way up the neck for additional protection against frigid winds, or worn undone as a v-neck in milder conditions. A soft fleece lining feels excellent against your skin while providing a temperature-regulating quality that ensures you stay warm without overheating.
