60s Style Pink Flower Dress Jacket, Embroidered Peter Pan Collar, Hairspray Costume

This is a lovely 1960s-style jacket made from pale pink chiffon with sweet flocked white flowers printed all over. The top layer is sheer, and the under layer is opaque pink. The sleeves are gathered at the shoulders and cuffs, giving a puffed fullness. The cuffs close with large white buttons which also button down the front as well. The peter pan collar is embroidered with a large, cursive letter "P", for Mr. Pinky's Hefty Hideaway (clothing boutique) from Hairspray! This dress was a costume for the movie, used as one of the Mr. Pinky uniforms! We have two available. This would work well as a house coat/robe or indeed a costume for a Hairspray party!

CONDITION: Very good overall. There is a bit of dust darkening / the odd stain on a few of the flocked flowers and a bit of dust darkening on the cuff edge of one sleeve. There is a faint yellow stain on the chiffon of the lower back area. A small hole near the underarm, on the back left side. The right pocket has been reinforced with interfacing.
