Super cute with Halloween vibes, this black and mint green striped dress dates from the 1920s.
Black silk charmeuse with mint green silk chiffon. Ecru lace collar.
Slips on over the head with snap closures and a hook/thread closure on one side. Two snap closures also on each cuff.
Tiered skirt is gathered quite a bit at the sides of the waist to give it a bit of a pannier look (it also may have been worn with pannier form). Scalloped hem!
Would look really cute with a pair of lace up boots! It has a very whimsical, fun vibe.

Likely best for a size small to smaller medium, as it is meant to be worn a bit loose. Shown on a size 2 dress form.

+++ Condition +++
Good condition overall and wearable with care. Some flaws to note:
- There are several holes in the mint green silk chiffon
- Small mend to the lace on the back of the collar
- One side of the skirt seems to be slightly off center compared to the other
- Extensive mending of popped seams done throughout, as the old threads are deteriorating, so it may need more mending in the future if it is to be worn
The silk is in good condition, but should be treated with care. No strong odors. Wearable with extra care but also lovely for display, study, or inspiration.
