Beautiful autograph album circa 1880s with an owl on the cover.
Front page is labeled "Galaxy Album especially adapted for Autographs and Sketches."
The first entry is dated December 25, 1885 and it was given as a Christmas gift to Burton D. Elwood from the Lutheran Sunday School.
I was able to find Burton in some genealogical records. He married a woman named Eva in 1900.
Although there are several original hand-written messages included, there are many blank pages.
